About
DriftBox Play started as a group chat between a few friends who kept sending each other screenshots of games we couldn't stop playing. At some point the notes got too long for a chat, so we turned them into a site. Everything you read here comes from real sessions on real phones, not press releases.
We don't chase every launch. A game earns a spot in our catalog when at least two of us have put a few hours into it and have something honest to say. Sometimes that means praise, sometimes it means we tell you to skip it and save your storage.
We care a lot about the boring parts other reviews ignore: how the controls feel with one thumb on a bus, how hot your phone gets after twenty minutes, whether the settings menu actually lets you turn things off. That stuff decides whether a game stays installed.
The site is independent and small on purpose. No sponsors picking our topics, no ranked lists sold to the highest bidder. Just people who like playing and writing about it.
