Why us

We actually play

Every review is based on hands-on time, not a trailer. If we didn't finish a level, we say so.

Battery and heat notes

We track how each game treats your phone, because a great game that drains you in half an hour isn't so great.

No paid placements

Nobody buys their way into our catalog. Our opinions stay ours.

Emberfall Saga

★★★★★ 4.6

Emberfall Saga is the kind of mobile RPG that respects your time. Combat is turn-based and laid out clearly, so you can plan a fight in a few seconds and never feel lost about who's about to hit whom. The party of four heroes each have distinct roles, and swapping abilities before a boss actually matters.

  • Clear, readable turn-based combat
  • A story worth not skipping
  • One-handed friendly vertical layout

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

We pick games at least two of us have actually played for a few hours, and we try to cover a range of genres rather than only chasing the newest launch. If something is interesting for its controls, its story, or how it treats your battery, it's a candidate. We skip plenty of titles that just don't have anything worth saying.

Do you get paid to write positive reviews?

No. Nobody pays us to feature a game or to be kind about it, and our opinions stay independent. When we like something we say why, and when we don't, we say that too. Big Bass Splash, for example, got a warm write-up simply because we enjoyed it, not because anyone asked us to.

Can I suggest a game for you to review?

Please do. Drop us an email with the name of the game and a line about why you think it's worth our time. We read every suggestion, though we can't promise to cover everything since we only write about games we've genuinely played.

Is there advertising on the site?

We keep the site light and may run basic, non-intrusive ads to help cover hosting costs. Advertising never influences which games we cover or the opinions we give. Editorial and any ads are kept strictly separate.
